Baltimore Green Party Community Calendar – 7am Presidential Inauguration in DC Information

George, you’re fired! Join the Baltimore Green Party on 20 January 2005 as we protest the inauguration of George W. Bush for a second term as our elected president. We will rally with the DC Anti-War Network rally at Malcolm X Park (16th and Euclid Sts NW–nearest to U Street and Columbia Heights Metro Stations) at 9:00 AM. Following this, we will have a march at 11:15 AM, toward the White House down 16th Street and ending at Franklin Square Park. From there, march participants may join in several actions. Transportation From Baltimore: Option 1: Public Transportation. Meet at Penn Station to ride the 7 AM MARC #411 train (cost is $7 one way). Arrives at D.C. Union Station at 8 AM. Take Red line to Green line to Columbia Heights Metro Station. Option 2: Carpool. Meet at Baltimore Green HQ, 1443 Gorsuch Ave at 7 AM. Drive to Greenbelt Metro station and take Green line to Columbia Heights Metro Station. Info: On 20 January 2005 George W. Bush will be sworn in for another 4 years.
