Manages the relationship between the research activites of the CBNA, PHEB, and the community stakeholders. Effectively participates in decisions related to Investigative directing concepts and methods within research parameters, and participate in the reporting,authoring,and presentation of research findings in conjunction with the community manager. Design and implements programs for the community associated with the PHEB community relations initiatives.

Creating the framework for a community development program to redevelop the McElderry Park community and association. Created a partnership with stakeholders in the community such as faith organizations, businesses, universities, architects, city of Baltimore, and other non-profits. Redevelopment projects on housing stocks, vacant street block lots which are being turned into park-like areas, parking space, and gardening projects.

Oversaw and ensured the successful implementation of the HEB South Safe and Sound Family Support Initiative. Oversaw data collection and analysis of data to determine achievement of outcomes. Coordinated meetings and training needs of the Collaborative members and staff. Sought out and established new contacts/relationships with community groups and agencies.

Developed and expanded the capacity of the organization to meet its goals, including board development and strategic planning. Worked with staff and board to do organization-wide planning. Coordinator of Support Services (self-employed consultant)

Community-based educational initiative in the East Baltimore area. Worked in conjunction with five Baltimore public schools and seven Baltimore City public housing units. Responsibilities included staffing and operating school-based office as a liaison for the Dunbar Project, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, and organizations, advisor to the Board of Trustees representing the Dunbar community. Organized and presided over regular meetings in the public schools and public housing. Responsible for the disbursement of grants and other donations. Maintained records and collected data on Dunbar Project studies, reports and statistics compiled outside of organization.

1991-1993 The Mayor's Campaign for a Cleaner Baltimore
Senior City/Community Coordinator

City-wide partnership to organize several neighborhood clean-up and recycling projects weekly. Organized monthly major community clean-up, recycling and resource projects that consisted of several neighborhood associations. Conducted as a resource information center that served Baltimore City Council and city agencies. Met with city and state officials, community leaders and non-profit organizations. Participated on the city's Interagency Sanitation Committee.

Neighborhood Resource Bank(NRB)
Director

City-wide community-based support organization. Conducted workshops on self-help projects such as Rat Rub-Out, community clean-ups and recycling, beautification and other community-related concerns. Created a Community Resource Center working with a variety of city agencies on special events and community projects. Operated two warehouses to solicit and distribute donated goods to non-profit members. NRB played a major role in coordinating the "Shape-Up Baltimore" campaign, City Council President Mary Pat Clarke's "Off the Wall" campaign, and City Hall's Interagency Trash Coordinating Committee.
Redeveloped NRB to become CRBM. NRB changed from citywide to statewide program by forming coalition with Maryland Food Bank, Health and Welfare Council of Maryland, Citizens Housing and Planning Council, and The United Way of Central Maryland.
